in small 10 gallon tanks, i have no problem hitting 30 ppm+ with small glass diffusors... filter in the back....diffusor in front....bubbles just float to the top...i can see how circulating the co2 could be even more efficient...but as is...i have no issues.....

perhaps the diffusors are dirty or not diffusing the bubbles fine enough.....

i also use glass diffusors in a 55 and 80 gallon.....no problems...
