NASH is a newly established club dedicated to the keeping of nature aquarium tanks, hence:
Nature Aquarium Society of Houston
Talk about new, time surely flies. We are already a year old! Mainly, people and hobbyists alike come together and share their ideas and experiences about maintaining planted tanks. A great thing about joining a local club is that, more than likely these are the people who share a very similar water parameter with you. So, whenever you have a problem you can usually consult one another and work things out. In this day and age, it has become imperative to always make a special note about whatever it is you are promoting or talking about. For instance, 'The discussed method does not work in every situation'...'Please know that the results will vary'.....blah, blah, blah, just so that some people will not become over zealous and blame others when they themselves have tried something and it didn't work like the people said it would. A very sad but true reality. Therefore, the purpose of NASH is similar if not the same as any other planted tank organizations; to form a network of people who live in close proximity in order to better understand and share the fascinating experiences of aquascaping!

And oh yeah:

We do accept memberships from all over the nation. You can live in Washington and still join(Why not? You've already joined GWAPA, right? haha:P)

Membership is $25 for one year, and this includes all the benefits aforementioned plus all the plants you can get your hands on. That is, all the plants we members have available however often that is. And let me just say that number can be scary sometimes
