I was going to set it up for selectively breading certain shrimps and keeping others. Im using a chrome wire rack. For the tanks im using 6-8 26 gallon rimless tanks. I was thinking of making a centralized filter system but decided to use sponge filters instead. Im going to start with Cherries and than move to CRS and than get some more exotic shrimp.

I hope to see many people at the meeting if we don't support the club is not going to last long let's get this going we have slow down big time!
I suggest we plan a collection trip before the summer ends maybe San Marcos? or that place President Jhon =) knows well perhaps?
BTW guy's we have a brand new father in the club! congratulations to Steve Fisher and his wife for their new boy!

Honestly, with all due respect, I fully understand everyone has busy schedules. So I more than support the idea that we hold one bigger meeting/event that everyone(most people) can join, rather than small ones where nobody is sure whether they can make it or not. So with that being said, why not do a field trip like Luis suggested, where we search for aquatic plants/fish in the Texas wildlife, such as San Marcos.

Just one big event for the Summer, even though it is already August.....

BTW, Luis, let us know how the SF trip goes with guest-speaking and all. Pictures, pictures, pictures!!! Plants, plants, plants!!!

I like the idea of a collection trip! We have plenty of time though since summer usually last till october and sometimes january as of late.

What is this SF trip being mentioned Luis? Do take lots of pictures!
