Default Sick Discus?

Hi guys, I appear to have a sick fish. I don't know if you will be able to tell anything by the picture or not - it is hiding in a back corner, and it's a difficult angle to shoot. The fish is acting letharic and hanging out near the bottom, resting the tip of its fin on the substrate. It didn't eat this morning with the other fish. There are some generally darkened areas on his body. All the other fish appear perfectly fine. Is there anything I can do for it? I do have amano shrimp in the tank and no other tank set up for a hospital tank. I know many meds are incompatible with shrimp.

Thanks!

Thanks for the links guys! I am bookmarking those for future reference, as they have loads of good information. The fish died yesterday. I think that's the fastest I've ever had one die on me. It only started showing symptoms of distress yesterday and then died that same day. Unless I was just too busy the day before to notice.
