Hi to all,

Just as a reminder on the first formal meeting's topic...'Wabi-Kusa'

Once we have all determined the best date for this meeting, I can go ahead and start preparation. I ask those of you who have plants at home to bring whatever you can as we will engage in a fun Wabi-Kusa DIY in the latter part of the meeting. This will get everyone involved and make learning about it more interesting So again, please bring whatever clippings/cuttings/trimmings you may have. Those who have old substrates, such as Aquasoil and volcano rocks, are also welcome to bring them.

I vote Feb. 9. That would be our normal meeting time. Once a date is established, a head count also needs to be generated (for materials and supplies)

That date might not be good for me and whomever else....

Hill Country is having their auction that date and the Tropheus & Petrochromis club is planning to have their tank tour on that date....in which I might be a part of.

Quoc, if that date is not too feasible please suggest a date that you think may be better. Again, this is the reason why I am posting this thread so we can get an agreement ASAP

NVM, the date for the tank tour has been rescheduled to an earlier date.....though the Hill Country auction is still on that date.

How about Feb 16th??? I think at this time stretch, it will give everyone enough to plan ahead.


***At this point, I am calling for people who have emersed setup to try to bring them. The plants, that is, since wabi-kusa is primarily an emersed setup. I also have some but am not so sure if they will survive since they are sitting in the pond(nowadays our avg temp been hitting low 40's). Thanks
