Default C02 tubing at city pets.

One of my dogs nibbled a hole in my current tubing and I picked up some at City Pets. It says it is ozone and uv safe. Is it c02 safe? At $2.71 for 10 feet it seemed a bit cheap.

I wouldn't bet on it. Do you have an extra check-valve or splice where you can cut out the piece with the hole and splice the tube back together?

Got an extra check valve and will try that when I find the hole. C02 tank emptied out today anyhow so will do a full maintenance on C02 this week. Need to clean my inline diffuser, rerun the tubing to make it doggie proof, and get a refilled cylinder. Ah, the joys of Aquarium keeping.

I am using it Glenn and it works just fine, you can always get the ADA one with a check valve and suction cups for the tubing.
Cheers,

I was going to built a bunch of check valve in bulk but at the time not that many people want it to justifiy the cost. Maybe this is a good time.

Manifolds, tubing, check valves, etc. - it stinks to buy onesie-twosies, as the handling charge kills you, but stuff is very inexpensive if you buy a bunch.

Some of us get together to do hardware like check valves, too, comes out like 6 bucks each with barbs included or something when you buy a bunch at once.
