Default rotala ramosior

Anybody has rotala ramosior and rotala mexicana 'araguaia' (old name is Rotala pusilla)? I am looking for few stems as an accent for my tank. Thanks a million

I was actually planning on visiting a site where I've collected ramosior in the past. I'll grab you a few stems if I can get out there and find it.

That form of mexicana? Can't help you there. What happened to that one? It's a gorgeous plant and nobody seems to have it!

Yeah, I didn't realize how nice these plants are; will do my best to find them myself. Hopefully we can make them more available in this hobby

I went to one of the known ramosior locations the other day and...nothing. There was literally a field of it last year! Not one stem this time. There's still the other place, although I'm not sure when I can get out there. But that's just the way some of these plants are: some years there's a lot and others little to none.

Yeah, I totally agree, Cav!

Last year my backyard was literally filled with Hydrocotyle spp., but then this year it is alot drier so not much. My fellow NASH members and I are thinking of organizing a field trip and see what we can find. So I will definitely be more vigilant for these plants

I think I may have a source now for some Rotala mexicana variants, including the 'araguaia'
but it will be some time before I have them sent to me. I'll keep you updated.

best of luck finding the R.ramosior guys!
I was unable to find it but I'd probably step on it while looking and still not see it

When Cavan says "field" he's not joking. This is how much there was last year at the exact same location. The variety and quantity of species seems to greatly vary from year to year here in MD. Next year there could be a field of it again.

Here's a closer pic that might help you in your search.
