It grows in my pond in Southeast Louisiana. It grows on land and in the water. I think it is so cute.

Looks like Lysimachia nummularia to me.

It is commonly known as Creeping Jenny and is not native to the US although it is now very widely spread.

It's a slow grower, but it will do alright submersed in a tank. Its flowers are very pretty, I think.
