Question A few plant issues

Hi all,

I started a 10 gallon around 4 months ago and am very much a planted tank newbie.
I have some java moss attached to driftwood, some Amazon swords and one green crypts wenditii (sp?).

I have 26 watts of CF light at 6700K. I have 6 neons, 3 panda corys and 3 Sunrise tequila platies. I do a 40 to 50 % WC weekly.

-I noticed that on one or two of the sword leaves there are a couple of smallish spots and 2 of the leaves of the other sword have turned yellow and wasted away to a brownish colour. from soem fo the posts i have read here , this sounds like a Macro deficiency. Is this true in my case?

also some of the older sword leaves are starting to curl around the edges.

-some of my java moss is also looking a litle bit brownish near the tops but is 99% green and thriving well for the most part.

-i had some green cabomba as well that was thriving and recently started losing more leaflets and started looking brownish.

-A week ago, I started salt water treatment for ich for my fish. How much will this affect the plants?

-I does 1 ml of flourish excel every other day. should i do this everyday?

-I also dont dose any other macros or micos. Any suggestions as to what i should start dosing, when and how much?

Thanks.

All plants need nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, carbon, calcium, magnesium, trace elements, etc. in order to grow well. Terrestrial garden plants need these elements and you fertilize to provide them. Aquatic plants need them too, so most of us fertilize KNO3 for nitrogen and potassium, KH2PO4 for phosphorous, either CSM+B, Flourish or TMG for traces, and carbon dioxide or Excel for carbon. That's what you need to do.
