Hello again !
I have just finished to change the aquarium front substrate by Flourite Dark, in order to plant again H.C.Cuba. (previously I had only gravel and a bit of substrate Terralit) and I want to know if it is a good idea, or necessary, to add Flourish Tabs or any other
fertilizer to the Flourite Dark substrate. I have read that the substrate always needs the addition of some kind of fertilizer, even in the case of Fluorite.

You only need to use the addition of root tabs if the plant is a heavy root feeder, such as crypts & swords. In the case of HC Cuba it will obtain it's nutrients from the water column. So just make sure that you have a regular fert schedule dosing with micros, NO3, P04 & potassium.
