This site is the reason I stayed/got so into plant keeping. Without the information available here or the incredibly helpful members, I would have thrown in the towel and either gotten out of tanks or gone back to plastic plants...UGH, perish the thought!!!

I have not even setup my tank yet (I have not even bought my new tank yet). Want to gather as much info as possible before I start the setup.

I am thinking 40 gallon breeder, as I read on that may change though.

"I would have thrown in the towel and either gotten out of tanks or gone back to plastic plants" - I hear you on the plastic plants. That is what I have now (Been setup 6 years now), but want something more natural. But at least I have a partial fix until I set this up.

I do have a question for all of you. What are some of your favorite fish to put into a planted aquarium. When I set this up, and things get settled, I was thinking of getting some Blue Rams.
