The amount of plants (Newbie) - New to Planted Aquariums

Have a 48 gal tank, dimensions are 36"X18" and would like to use HC in foreground, how much to order? How much will one pot cover?

You plant HC by taking small bunches (about 1/2" diameter) and planting them deep in the substrate.

If you want only HC in your 36x18 tank you will need between 2 and 3 pots. More is better of course.
