The subject matter for this forum should be, as the title says, plants that are new to the hobby. These are not necessarily plants that are new to you. So, before posting here, do a little research to determine if the plant you want to discuss is truly a new discovery that most hobbyists have not yet heard about. This could be, for example, a new species or variety that an importer or vendor has recently made available to the hobby for the first time. It could also be one that you have discovered growing in the wild if you are quite sure it is a species or variety that is not already known by hobbyists.
