Default Eriocaulon amanoanum (=sp. Japan?)

Another super rarity I found on the emerald lake is Eriocaulon sp. Japan and I am not sure if this is the same as what is being called Eriocaulon amanoanum. Can anyone confirm or deny the validity of Amano having his name on one of the most spectacular Erios evar?

If anyone has this plant please let me know so I can sign over my bank account and firstborn ASAP.

Here is the picture from emerald lake

Here are some pictures from a fellow gardener who happens to work at ADA Japan
Here it is at a young stage and the pictures after that follow the plant's development.

A little while later

This plant just keeps going

This plant is unstoppable

I have a propagule from the above mother plant coming my way. I will report back when it arrives, hopefully in good shape. I hope to get some Erio sp. Japan for comparison because I do not believe these are the same. The leaf size and shape seem pretty different but I'll grow them side by side to see for sure.

Well I got my Eriocaulon amanoanum yesterday and it is hands down the most beautiful Eriocaulon I have ever seen, perhaps the most beautiful plant. Let's hope it settles in well and grows at a decent pace.

Hey there aCoralite

Any updates?

I'd love to hear where you obtained your Eriocaulon amanoanum. I've been looking for this for some time, but my time is limited so i haven't gotten any anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated!
