Looks sort of like a slightly darker version of E. Midfleur.

armedbiggiet mentioned in an earlier post that there are different cultivars floating around and I can't help but notice that mine is very different from the other 2 shown here. The cultivar I have did come from Taiwan and differs from the the beautiful specimen Vadim S posted or that armedbiggiet whose plants looks like a typical sword. The one I have is different in regards to the overall size, leaves, the distinct leaf curl and color differences.

My leafs do shape like yours mrkookm! But the color are lighter cause I did not feed them enough.

I picked up one of these from a local Store in September. What an amazingly Dark color it has, nearly black. The leaves looked mostly like emersed growth when I picked it up.

There were maybe, six 3" ovoid leaves, with about 4" petioles. It was probably mostly converted to submersed growth when I bought it because it started throwing up submersed leaves a couple weeks after I planted it. Still that deep black/red but the leaf form is larger, and getting larger with every leaf.

The old "emersed" leaves are on their last legs and look more grayish than green, so I will probably trim those in the next few days.

So for those who have been growing this plant for a while, how big does this sword get?

I am growing it in 4yr old Aquasoil, at about 3.6wpg, CO2, Autodoser etc. I also packed the roots with a couple Root Tabs. There are a couple comments about it being sensitive or difficult..is it? How much so? Sensitive to what?
