Default White and Rare

Hi all,

I just wanna share some rare plants variants that become very popular here in Indonesia..

Check this out..






And here's the plant

Anubias barteri var. nana "White"



Plants by: HoHo...

The plants has been kept since 1991. So I think the white gene is stable already.

and also the white downoi aka. Pogostemon helferi "White". This is still a new plant that one of the hobbyist here try to develop. I hope it'll also becoming stable.

ah, that looks like nutrient deficientcy man... why those one in the back were all green? what kind of fert do you add in these tanks?

Yeah...downoi gets white growth tips when it's lacking micronutrients. If it doesn't get them then the meristem will die.

Agreed on the downoi, then the leaves get holes, become very brittle, and die.

That's what happened exactly to my Downoi before. Indeed looks like iron deficiency.
