Default Paludarium Basics

Does anybody know of a good 'how-to' site for Paludariums?

Well, here's one:

I always like to look for examples. I find them very helpful:

Good luck!

The first one jeff63851 pointed out is the one I used as a reference. It really was a PITA to find much other info. I used badmans for info and just "winged it" the rest of the way. I really had fun building mine, and the g/f and I enjoy watching ours. Hopefully if more people "get into" paludariums there can be more references. I know I would have liked to have a 'how to' sticky up here, when I was building mine.

Maybe someone on here who is good at writing articles can make one for here? Not sure if enough people on the forum have setups though.

There isn't many "how to build a Paludarium" site on the web. If I remember correctly, I think someone at TPT had a picture journal of his step by step construction of the Paludarium.

I used this site when making my ten gallon paludarium. http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/46g_construct.htm I copied the idea almost exactly, just scaled it down a lot. It is a shelf that comes out from the back. I chose this design because it game me the most amount of water for the tank size.

And though there's the language barrier, the photo log of this project is so detailed you can figure out whats going on:

Die Wasserzone pictures the land/water separation.
