I secure the plants with pins and rubber bands in hidden places. You can also use hot glue, but wait till its not that hot to push the plant in. The plants can root, but it takes a very long time and has to be on a very soft porous surface . . . unlike the driftwood we like, as it is hard. So it probably wont root for you. I dont think they like direct light either(in the forest, trees would shade direct light often), which will be a problem for me as im gonna hang my lights above them, we'll see what happens. Light won't be a problem as these plants will be above my light fixture. I figure they will get ambient light at best during the day and my dining room chandelier for at least an hour at night. Thanks for the info.
yeah good luck! also, does anybody know if there is an really really slow species of anything, that cant jump or fly that could live on the top piece of driftwood?
