Low tech, low light tank. 5 years into the making. I recently put more light over it and hope to grow a more diverse group of plants.

That is just awesome. How did you cover the water section's egg crate under the water to keep the newts from getting underneath the structure? Maybe I missed that part, but if you could further explain, that would help me.
