It's been up about a month a lot of work making the hardscape just right. I just added Crypt Keei to the water area and Bucephalandra onto the rocks. Te full tank shot was while the water was up it is normally 4-5" but twice a day it raises to 9" to simulate a rain flooded stream. I have some piptospatha, bakoa and Aridarum plus a few more buces to add.

That's pretty cool. How do you similate the flood? Do you timed sump, pump, drain system set up?

It's pretty simple there are two bulkheads drilled in the tank one at 5" and one at 10" they are both drains but the hose attached to the 5" one has a pump at the end of it (the normal flow is really low so there are no issues with it blocking the flow) when I want to flood the tank I turn on the pump and it floods up to the level of the 10" bulkhead. The size of the sump is the limiting factor I would like to flood it higher but the sump is only 25 gallons. I will also be adding 5" extensions to both drains to simulate the rainy season this will make the normal water level 10" and the flooded level 15". Hope that explanation makes sense if not let me know

It has been a while since I have posted new pics so here they are. I just added new vines and did some trimming, I have turned the mister off for the winter to simulate the dry season, the fog machine is still on and the lower plants get submersed twice a day still. I have a bunch of other plants in my holding tank that need a home so I may be adding some soon.

Both tanks

FTS of the terrarium

Close up of my new vines I just added a couple hrs ago

Some pictures of my Buce "Shine Green" on a rock (for those of you new to the thread I didn't take these pics in Borneo, lol)

Shots of the left side of the tank, does anyone want to take a guess at how many different plants are there? This side has alot more diversity than the right side.

Right side, lots of vines and one huge overgrown Schismatoglottis picta, I trimmed 10 leaves off it today.

A shot from the middle of the tank, the Bakoa lucens on the rock wall is doing really well.

Here is a shot I took of some leaves I thought were really cool, can anyone name them?
