Default paludarium build

Here is a vid of the paludarium I built for our green basilisk. Its 4'X2'X4', made out of plexiglass with a hefty wood frame base. The waterfall is made out of an altered and raised water filter and field stones and slate. The Island is simply a 10 gallon fish tank that is full of dirt and plants, with more field stones in front to make it look more natural. Its been a while since this vid was taken, so all the plants are bigger now, and I have added several more.

Welcome to APC!

I'd love to see some photos with more growth on the plants. Have you been able to get good growth on the submersed plants? In my own MUCH smaller attempt at a paludarium, I have trouble getting enough light to the submersed plants.

Here's a photo I took yesterday - it's not great, but you get the idea. The tank has been up for about 6 months. I recently added more lights, and the whole thing is next to a window, so the sun shines in every afternoon. I also added more submerged plants a couple of months ago, and they are just starting to grow up and out after taking root.

Tank looks good! I've always wanted to do a paludarium, but so far I haven't given it a go.
