Default PPS-Pro, Same solution for all aquariums?

I'm new to PPS-Pro and dosing in general so I have to ask this newbie question. Is the formula for the macro and micro solution the same regardless of the size of our tank?

Default Re: Newbie Guide to PPS-Pro

The macro and trace solutions are the same for any size aquarium. The dosing amount changes. It's 1ml of each solution for every 10 gallons of water.

From what I see, the photoperiod is different for different light levels--more light=less hrs.

What kind lighting of lighting do I need with PPS-Pro?

PPS-Pro works with lots of different lighting setups. The general guidelines are:

Low Light ( Under 2 wpg) 10-12 hours a day
Medium Light (2.0 – 3.0 wpg) 8-10 hours a day
High Light ( 3.0 – 4.0 wpg) 7-8 hours a day
Very High Light (4+ wpg) 6 (Expert level)

The solutions are the same, just dose a 1ml per 10G.

Default PPS-Pro, Same solution for all tap water ?

Same solution for all tap water?

I want to change the question. The issue I cannot understand is how same solution does work for different tap water. For example my tap water contains 15 ppm nitrate another one 5 ppm. These examples may be multiplied for PO4, Iron, etc…
I think content of tap waters is important for fertilization especially during setup phase that most algae related problems appeared.

Why one PPS-Pro macro and micro solution fit all aquariums?

The PPS-Pro dose guarantees the necessary daily nutrients for healthy plants to start growing. When plants are growing they are naturally looking for more nutrients. Not necessarily in order to grow more but because they are greedy. It is called Luxury uptake. Just like fish take more food when kept in a group. This is why additional tap NO3 and PO4 and fish waste be used up by plants when available. PPS comes with more K to support such circumstances.

Thank you
Edward
