Default Hi there. Question about mixing PPS Pro Solutions

Hi,

I'm new here. I'm interested in trying PPS pro system. My goal is nice plants and good WQ, not rapid growth. I have dry ferts and a nice scale on the way. I'm now looking into purchasing some lab bottles to store my dry ferts and solutions. My interpretation of what I've read so far (which isn't everything) is that you mix the solution so the grand total volume (including chemicals) is 1 litre. But it occurs to me that perhaps the chemicals need to be added to 1 litre of water, in which case I need to take this into account when choosing bottle size. Which is it?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome to APC!

Here is the PPS-Pro Solutions Recipe tool we can use. For example, in 1 liter bottle, solution #2, pour 80 grams of TE mix and fill up to 1 liter with soft water. The chemicals plus water make 1 liter total volume.

Thank you
Edward

Hi Edward,

I know this is an old post, but I do not have a scale right now and I am trying to figure out how many grams of dry ferts are in a tea spoon. Is it similar to sugar, 4.2g/tsp?
