Default Want to try PPS, but one question about time of day....

I know that you are supposed to dose about an hour before lights come on, but since I am nowhere close to home except for Saturdays and Sundays this time of day, would I be able to dose in the morning before I leave for work?

That is exactly how I do it and it seems to work fine. Honestly, I think you can pretty much dose any time you want, but the idea is to make sure the plants have the food they need before lights on. I would guess you could also add the ferts at night after lights out if you prefer.

I built autodosers. Spent about $40 each on them, but I think they could be done cheaper. My dosers dose my mixture automatically an hour before my lights come on, as I'm at work when all this happens too.

Neilanh, you should do a thread on the autodoser in the DIY section. More people searching for a DIY autodoser will find it then. Like most good ideas, this one is very simple and effective.
