Am I missing something? - PPS Analysis and Feedback

Hi,

Ive been using EI for a while but with a much bigger tank on the way I'm keen to try PPS-pro to reduce the reliance on 50% water changes. I have tried to read all the excellent guides (there are almost to many!), but I just wanted to clarify something.

Is PPS-pro as simple as adding the following

59 grams K2SO4 (Potassium Sulfate)
65 grams KNO3 (Potassium Nitrate)
6 grams KH2PO4 (Mono Potassium Phosphate)
41 grams MgSO4 (Magnesium Sulfate)

To 1000ml of RO water then adding 1ml per 10g of tank water each day?

Trace mix as 80g dry trace (I'm using aquaessentials dry trace, assume that's OK?) to 1000ml RO water then 1ml per 10g tank water per day?

If it really is that simple, why on earth have I been doing EI for so long!

Also, reduce co2 to 15ppm. Why is this?

Finally, what on earth do SS, PF, NF, Mg, TE mean? I cant find these anywhere!!

Yep. (One hour before put the light on)

There is plenty of carbon to grow the healthy plants. You don't need more.
