Default PPS-Pro and Non-CO2?

I started using PPS-Pro on my two CO2 injected tanks a week ago and began wondering whether I could modify it for use with my non-CO2 24 gallon tank. This tank has only 1.5 wpg and is stocked with java ferns, anubias and bolbitis. I do water changes weekly of 20% and plan to maintain that. I don't regularly fertilize this tank and there isn't much algae, what's there is mostly clado. I'd like to see the plants looking better, however. Since this aquarium has been doing ok on almost no fertilization, I don't want to use PPS-Pro full strength, it would seem. Should I dilute the PPS-Pro solutions up by some value and apply like higher light, CO2-driven tanks?

Basically here is a good EI method for non CO2 tanks, I would take this and divide it by how many days you are dosing then apply it. So it would be very minimal amounts.

Huh...it doesn't sound like EI; Tom Barr doesn't mention EI. Anyway, thanks for the article ; it seems like a possible option. I don't like the idea of not doing any water changes. Maybe I could learn to adjust my thinking.

Hi,
You can use the original PPS-Pro solutions and dose less, ~ 2 drops a day.
