Hey everyone,

I've used PPS-Pro at home on my 55g and had great results, so i'm going to take it up to school for my 10g shrimp tank. I just have a few questions:

1) I have to do w.c.'s or the water wont be good enough for the shrimp im afraid. Will this be ok?

2) My water paramaters started at:
Nitrate 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Ammonia - 0ppm
PH ~7.6
Temp 72*F
I didnt log GH or KH but they were low and in a very acceptable range.

and over time (and due to being away from the tank for a while and the care taker not taking care of the tank) they migrated to this:
PH - 7.8-7.9 (YIKES!!!)
Amonia - 0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
GH - 125
KH - 7

I've been doing 50/50 RO/tap changes to help reduce the lvels and believe that i'm almost ready to start fert's. Would i make the solution as the calculator would direct me to?

Quick answers would be great, i leave in an hr or two.

Hi Muirner,

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but if you are asking if you can use PPS-Pro on your 10 gallon shrimp tank, then the answer is yes. I use the same strength and dosage (1.0 ml / 10 gallons) in my shrimp tank as I do in my other three tanks.
