Please describe the condition of your plants.

I've started with lots of hair algae removing a couple of handfuls a day for a long time, plants seemed to tolarate it and fast growing plants continued to grow and all of them looked healthy.4 days ago I noticed that algae escecially on fast growing plants became weaker and you could not raise it up with a toothbrush. It seemed like decomposing.Right now I'm almost algae free but greenwater came back for good,I turned my UV on last night.
Thanks..

You need to complete the pps xls sheet with all info that is required. You did not start pps on jan 1 so that should be blank. As soon as you post all the info I will try to help you or better yet Edward and discuss could help you.

Thanks for the help,I tried deleting the initial numbers on the month January which are there as samples but somehow I cannot. My initial records start from June,is there a technical problem if the records on January stay there?
I would appreciate if you gave me some feedback on my spreadsheet.

Thanks

I still don't get some comments back, does anyone knows if the people responsible for the PPS are away or something?I don't want to be rude but I'm really depending on them for my tank.

thanks

I am waiting for a reply to keep posting my results for more than 2 weeks now,I can't understand why you show so disrespectful to a person who really appreciates the work you have done over the years and the effort you put in to organizing the whole system and provide such a spreadsheet online.I had serious algae problems during the last weeks and I was waiting for a reply and some feedback. The least you should have done was to let me know that you were not interested for providing any kind of feedback so I continue searching for information or perhaps some other dosing technique and not leave me standby for 3 weeks.

I would start off with 6 ml of SS and 6 ml of Pf and lower the Trace down to 2 ml a little at a time. Then test after a week and post your results. And you need the Ca test bad also.

I started with 10ppm no3 and 1ppm po4.I started dosing 5 days ago a bit lower, 3ml SS,4ml PF and 5ml MG.I haven't found a decent test kit for Ca++ and marine ones seem that don't work properly so MG dosing is an estimative job.I've had trouble with green water some days ago but was solvedwith UV one day before I started dosing.I will fill my spreadsheet properly in a couple of days and send it back to you.I really apriciate the fact you are helping me out on this and hope that you give me some feedback on future spreadsheets.
Thanks a lot

If you can get your hands on a Hagen Ca test kit they seem to work good. This is what i use.
