Users are not allowed to post in the For Sale forum until they have a post count of 25 posts. You should be able to respond to ads via your private messages if you see plants for sale that you would like.

This is only a little off subject but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, what are plant points and what does accruing them signify?

You earn plant points by starting threads and posting to other threads (being a contributing member to the community). Plant points are used to buy food and do things with the digi-pets some people have, like the fox I have. Originally the pets were an incentive in a fund raising drive (donate $20 and get a pet!), then there were a few offered as a prize. Just a fun thing for those interested.

Try submitting the feedback without the URL, Mac! You also don't have the magical "25" post number yet. That could be causing you the problem...........
