Default Any Red Cherry Shrimps for sale?

I'm looking into getting maybe about 5 red cherry shrimps for my 10gal tank that will be sharing space w/ 3~4 dwarf puffers. I looked through online shops and they are waaaaaaaaaay expensive (plus you have to order like 10+ is seems like in most cases...) Anyone that wants to donate/sell the shrimps? Thanks!!

The puffers will most likely eat the shrimp.

well, i've read that on the dwarf puffer forum that there is a great compatibility with the two species and it is rare that the puffers will eat them (usually they will if they are underfed).
Also, would anyone know of any places to get the cherry shrimps in the stockton/sacramento/san jose area (closest to me in order). Thanks!

buy like a cheap ghost shrimp first put it in your tank and see what the DP's do to it...cherries are relatively expensive so you want to make sure that they do not get eaten by the DP's before you buy them

the temperment of dwarf puffers varies, one may not attack anything while another one could be agressive and not even tolerate oto's for example

I had a dwarf puffer that do not eat the shrimp but likes to "bite" the shrimp and harrass them. so, i finally give up after 2 days and remove the puffer fish and the shrimps comes out of hiding and are happy.

It's very difficult to find them in stores. I have seen them in a couple of stores thought in the Long Beach - Huntington beach area. $3.00 a piece.

Regards
