WTB: Daphnia magna or Monia - For Sale or Trade

Hi,
Does any one has Daphnia magna or Monia available?
I have red cherry shrimp if you are willing to trade. I only need very small quantities.

I have Daphnia in my tank from feeding frozen daphnia from Hikari.

I guess some of them survive the freezing process and come back to life. If you cant find some you might try that.

Or the same thing with freeze-dried daphnia; the eggs are able to survive the process many times and able to hatch out in your fishtank.

Wowee, anybody have Hikari Daphnia "resurrect" from frozen? I went to the pond next door today and harvested some pond water naively imagining I was going to harvest some Daphnia. Everybody does this right? Has great ideas on paper that are stuuupid in execution? Anyway, I may have harvested some Daphnia, but I harvested so much other flora and fauna I'm afraid to get the sample close to my aquarium!

Instead, I filled up a 2-liter soda bottle and dropped in various cubes of Daphnia containing frozen fish food I had on hand. I have my magnifying glass ready! Another crazy idea?

I'm thinking crazy. Whomever reported that must have had ephippial eggs or live specimens from plants or something. Everything in that soda bottle is deader than a can of corned beef! Well, I'll age it and obtain a starter culture on aquabid.
