Looking for a female Apistogramma cacatuoides or Apistogramma agassizii. PM if you have any or know where to get them.

Since you're looking for females, you should head to www.apistogramma.com. They have a price list with a wide variety of Apisto's, you should check there first. If you can't find what you're looking for there, then ask around the forum; members usually have fry ready to give away.

You may want to try Aquabid. I got some A. borelli 'Opal" from CLS and he sold me extra females for $5 each. He should have some more Apisto's up for auction soon. I can give you CLS's e-mail if you PM me.

ApistoDave is another good Aquabid source. But be careful, there is an ApistoDavid on Aquabid too. His feedback isn't very good. Not sure if it's the same guy or someone trying to capitalize on his good reputation!

Im not really into buying on aquabid because of the shipping rate. I am looking for a local breeder in Souther California or maybe a fellow hobbyist that has some extras that they are willing to sell or trade. If you could give me his email address that would be great MatPat.

He is in Florida so you woulsd still have to pay the shipping. It was $25 for me. He can ship up to 3 trios for that price so I got 3 trios to save on the shipping.

Find out what local fish clubs are in your area and ask around there. We have a cichlid specific club here in Maryland and I got a great deal there last time I went. I got 6 kribensis for $6.00 last time at the auction. You can't beat that with a stick.

I got my latest reverse trio of caucatidoes at the local club... Theres a meeting another club meeting in San Diego this weekend so I might possibly stop by there and see what they have. MatPat it was $25 altogether or just $25 for the shipping + your fish?

The shipping was $25. I won a pair for $15 and added another female for $5. He offered to sell me each trio for $20 even if the auction went higher since I wanted more than 1 trio. I ended up purchasing 3 trios total. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of females for the males

I got them after you were here. I've been saying you need to come by again and see the tanks. A lot has changed since you were here
