I was very upset with this but i figured i'd check the others. Well, unfortunately the blyxa was sort of brown in spots and not as healthy as other blyxa i've seen. And lastly the two hygro stems have a lot of holes in the leaves from snails and i lot of chunks missing as well from snails. There were some snails in the bag with them when i opened it.
I'm not trying to come off nasty but I am very disappointed with the quality of the plants. I have ordered many plants from people on this site and plantedtank.net and these have to be the worst, no offense. I'm sorry for this message but i had to be honest and tell you how I felt about this whole transaction. " Quote]
The java fern didn't have brown slime - the brown color under the leaves are spores. I remember washing the Hygros and there were no holes on the leaves. The blyxa turns reddish brown (blush)under high T5HO lighting.
When I receive plants I buy online, I always wash them before planting. If I find a snail I just throw it in the pond.
