Unlike other tiger shrimp, these were wild caught from rivers in China and have tints of blue, yellow, orange and purple. They range anywhere from 2 months to 3 weeks old (1/4th-1/3rd of an inch). Because they are not full grown, their black bands may not have shown up yet. The black bands start appearing when they're about 2 months old.

I started with 15 pieces and now only 10 out of the 15 are alive. This is because it is very hard for wild caught species to adapt to tank conditions. The 10 that are alive are all doing extremely well now and are breeding like crazy. The offspring also have various colors on their bodies besides the black bands. Now that these shrimp have fully adapted to tank conditions, I'm happy to be able to spread these beautiful shrimp throughout the hobby.

These shrimp will be packaged in a 5.5x8inch kordon breather bag with one or two extra shrimp. I will also throw in some moss or other plants for the shrimp to hold on to during the shipment. The kordon breather bag is then placed in a well insulted box and brought to the nearest post office on the same day for shipping.

Shipping within California will come with a live arrival guarantee but outside of California there is no guarantee. I have shipped shrimp numerous times in CA and out of CA and still have not had a DOA yet. They will be shipped out every Monday or Tuesday.

In the case of DOA, a clear picture of the dead shrimp in its original package is required within one hour of arrival for a refund. The refund will not include the shipping costs paid, only the money for the shrimp itself will be refunded.
