The ballast went out in it. It's way beyond my skill level to disassemble and fix. I got a bigger light out of the deal. The plexiglass light guard also broke as I was fussing with it. It doesn't affect the light, just snapped. I also have 2 brand new fans for it that will be included. The actual light is about 5 years old. I've replaced the fans on it twice myself (soldered).
It would be easiest to ship the whole thing. I have a monster box that my new light set was shipped in.
If anyone is interested then I'll weigh and look at shipping options for cheapest shipping cost. I can provide pictures for anyone who's interested.
