Sorry for riding your post, don't have my 25 posts to start a thread yet. |
You're in Torrington? Have you considered joining CAPE (CT Aquatic Plant Enthusiasts)? It's a great way to meet local people to swap with and such. We typically meet a ways south of you, but it's still typically within drivable range.
As for your question, are you also looking for emersed growth only? I don't have much in the way of emersed Ludwigia or Hygrophila species (might be able to cough up a cutting from my Hygro corymbosa 'Kompakt' but that's a common species you can get in any well-stocked LFS). I do have a number of other cool species - and some submersed Hygro corymbosa 'Angustifolia' (also not terribly difficult to find, but it's a nice, tall plant...). In the summer I'll have a ton of Ludwigia palustris that I grow outdoors - right now it's dormant, though. I might have a stray stem of the species in the bottom of a tub somewhere, but I'd have to go look.
