hey! im not interested in the plant as i already have two but i feel that i must say a few things!:

this guy is awesome! his plants are awesome and quality and superb in every way =)

also, my favorite part of the hobby is the challange i think. i take on crypts which is the second part of the question. i like crypts because they grow slow, they are uncommon and not easy to keep and maintain. anyways, cheers and good luck everyone!

X2 on the challenge. I also enjoy the aquascaping part of this hobby. I'm starting my 2nd planted tank with in the next month, can't wait to scape it. I will be starting a journal for this one.

The challenge is definitely a part of it. But I must say that the scape does it for me. Taking natural objects and manipulating them to get the desired outcome is truly what I feel it's all about. Hell if I could scape a tank every week I'd be a pretty happy camper.

My favorite part of the hobby is trying to breed and raise new and more demanding species of fish. That said, it doesn't mean I have to do it in a drab empty looking tank and I like playing with scaping too.

I like that it's equal parts Art and Science, along with respect for Nature.

Being still fairly new to the hobby, i think at this point my favorite part of this hobby would be the over all community and all the interaction with the great people I have met both local and worldwide. Needless to say all the goodies I've bought/traded from said peeps.

My favorite part of the hobby is the fact that you can basically create your own little worlds and shape them to how you see fit. It's a very satisfying feeling. Also, seeing fish and plants multiply is rewarding, and the knowledge of biology that comes from the hobby is quite helpful in school.

I'm new to the hobby, but what drew me in was some of the iwagumi style tanks that I saw. Being an designer, I can appreciate the artist style of it.
