?

I've never used the red flourite but from what I understand it's the same consistency as normal flourite, just with a red colour. I've used normal flourite in several tanks and have had neither any type of cloud nor lost half the contents down the drain...

Flourite does need to be rinsed alot. I use a normal kitchen strainer and rinse what I need bit by bit. Yes, it is a pain and needs patience.

Flourite Red, similar to Flourite, is a bit dusty due to frictional action in packaging and shipping. This dust can be easily cleared with a fine filter material (micron filter element), with a water clarifier or both.
