Default Excel and amphibians?

I read on your web site that Excel is safe with fish when used as directed. Do you have any data on amphibians? I'd like to have African dwarf frogs in a planted tank supplemented with Excel, but I don't want the little guys getting skin irritation or having other trouble.

To be honest, we have not tested the use of Flourish Excel with amphibians. Since amphibians are so sensitive (and they breathe through their skin), to be on the safe side, we would not recommend using Flourish Excel with amphibians.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the frogs can join the elodea in Excel-free exile.

I've used it on my 10 gal in low amounts where I have an African Dwarf with no issues. One time by mistake I overdosed with it and killed a few fish but the ADF came thru fine....

Thank you for the feedback. Anyone else used it with dwarf frogs?

I'll add to my previous comment that I moved my dwarf African frog to a new 60P (18gal) planted tank about 3 months ago and even though it's pressurized CO2 and EI fert regime I've been dosing about 5 ml per day of Excel since mid-May and my froggie has been just fine.
