Default Matrix submerged or not?

Hello, First off like many others I am a big fan of the Seachem line. I am setting up my 400 gallon and just received 12 liters of Matrix. I will be using this in my 90 gallon sump. The question I have is will the Matrix be more effective submerged or above the water?

Default Re: Matrix submerged or not?

Thanks for the post. Matrix will work best when it can receive maximum water flow through the media. More than likely it will get better flow when submerged in your sump. I hope this information is helpful and please let us know if you need any further assistance. Have a great day!
