Default Malawi/Victoria Buffer

Besides KH, does Seachem Malawi/Victoria Buffer increases the GH as well?

No; our Malawi/Victoria Buffer will not raise general hardness (it will only raise pH and carbonate hardness). If you want to raise GH in a Malawi/Victoria tank, we recommend using our Cichlid Lake Salt.

Thanks for the prompt response. Are there any other elements that this buffer would add to the water? If so, could you list them? Thanks again.

You are very welcome! Other than a proprietary blend of carbonate salts, the Malawi/Victoria Buffer does not add any other elements to the water. It will only effect the pH and the carbonate hardness.

A few more questions about this Malawi/Victoria Buffer.
I'm currently using 100% RO water, because i'm trying to keep the TDS below 200. And I have aragonite, and crushed corals in the tank.
I'm worrying about the stability of the PH, and the Carbonate Hardness in my tank after the desired PH is reached using this buffer.
Do they (PH, KH) stay stable until the next water change?
Or i need to keep adding this buffer accordingly?
Any suggestion about the PH, and KH in terms of stability?

You will inevitably see small shifts in pH throughout any given day; this is due to CO2 gas-off and other things that are occurring chemically in your tank. (This is a normal occurrence for any tank.) With that said, after initially achieving your target pH, it should stay within the range of 7.8-8.4. You can add it if needed between water changes to maintain your target pH and KH, but you should not need to do so more than once every 2-3 weeks. Generally, you will only need to add it with your water changes.
