Default Seachem Flourish

Hello Seachem,

I have been using your products for quite some time now, but there's something bothering me, it is Seachem Flourish.

1. What is the color of Flourish?
2. Is it brownish black?
3. Is the smell like soy sauce?

If I shake the bottle before use, it's foamy. Since the product itself doesn't has expired date, is it safe to use long after manufactured date? Thank you very much.

You are correct; Flourish is dark brown in color. This product also has a very distinct smell, as you described; it is normal for the product to foam upon shaking of the bottle. Flourish does not have an expiration date, and it is safe to use long after the manufacture date. We hope this helps

The question that's really bothering me is why does it taste like soy sauce? Also, can I use it with sashimi?

I would highly recommend not tasting it; also, you should not use it with sashimi
