In the last two pictures there is some kind of glass device attached to the right side of the aquarium. It looks like a small flask-like bulb with a neck that bends like an upside down U. The bulb has some kind of liquid in it, but the neck is full of air. I'm guessing---is it some kind of CO2 level indicator? Is there a dye in the bulb, such as brom thymol blue? |
