Many choices. Other than those really light intensive ones such as R.mcrandra, red Cabomba, you really have a lot of choices.

I grow many plants in a 2-gal that has no filter, no CO2, no strong light; the only light it gets is a screw-on PC bulb. Ironically, the water is clearer than a tank without any plants. You name it, I have it; swords, moss, ferns, anacharis, hygros, ludwigias, etc... It is in fact a nice little hatchery for a number of baby Rainbows that appeared mysteriously, the largest of which I have moved to another tank and is doing great. Now there are 3 babies with varying age difference. I don't know where they came from but given the setting provided they seem to thrive
