Niko, sorry I did not see your question. Woodfiller may telegraph though, especially with sprayed color. Bondo, used for cars, is better and probably cheaper also. Sprayed finish is noce, but if you don't already have a setup, rooling or brushing is a good option and a good brushed finish can look almost as good. Whatever you do, don't skimp on the finish if looks are important to you. I woudl alos prime the any end grain and join locations/filler a few times, then sand really, really well with 150 and then finally prime the whole thing, lightly sand the paint.
