Well, im near the end of the planning stage for my 66 planted.
I have dicided to make a convecs shaped scape, wirh the redmoor root for hardscape, and some roughlooking granite rocks around, to break the contrast between substrate and root.
This is my first "real" aquascape, so im proceeding wery slowly, so i dont rush a step.
My first step is this root, that will be the main hardscape of my scape. Its aqtually two pieces i have put together to make one good piece. Im planning to make it a base for a nice big narrowleafed javafern, and a bit of mos, but not so it would look heavy.
Heres the first pic,: 66 gal tank, root and a bag to hold it in place

And if you imagine the lines of the bagground plants (Possible Cyperus helferi and a long type of Eleocharis) and the substrate line (with HC and a wery short Eleocharis) and then again, wery low in the front

And the lines again...
I just wanted to hear some comments, about its scape and size, really - just give me your first thought, but remember that it will be partly hidden in plants as mentioned. Your thoughts will help me to see possible oppotunities and improvements in advance.
