Thanks for the kind words John S. We do not have a specific list of chemicals or compounds that Purigen will remove. Purigen will remove primarily organic waste and compounds that are color bodies in water like tannins and humic acid. Nitrogenous waste in a system comes from fish waste, organic debris,fish food, etc. It does not work like a carbon in that Purigen does have more of a focus in removal, can be regenerated, clarifies water, and will not impact minerals.
