I'm not sure if I would have planted the Egeria densa.....it can form a sizable root system, so it could be a pain to get out.

You probably want to re-adjust the photoperiod down to about 8 hours a day....it will help with the algae problem. Or, you could add an hour "break" period halfway through the photoperiod.

New tanks can be tricky to set up, Lowee! Just keep at, and everything will be fine, I promise!
