BTW, what is growing in the pico tank to the left of the "nano"?

About the HC leaf size - I've seen the best growth with ADA's substrates. I do have much more of it growing in Eco Complete though, and even that appears to be much larger than yours. It's probably stunting from lack of something..... light maybe? Despite that it seems to be filling in reasonably well.
Thanks for the compliments guaiac_boy.

As for the Pico, I have some extra petite growing in the tank as well as some Fissidens zipelianus. When I received the zip it was emersed growth, and never did well in any tanks I had setup - probably due to higher water temperature. I tossed the pico together with some Amazonia powder, a few rocks, a net full of cherries along with the zip and a 13 watt light. It's mostly a grow out tank for now.

You think it might be light for my small HC? Maybe...I do have around 4.5 wpg on the tank though...not a whole lot for a tank that size, but should be sufficient. Maybe it's stunting from lack of Amazonia
