I dunno. He may be. Do they get fatter though? All the pictures of them I've seen(going by common and scientific name) have been really tall fish, and he's kinda short. Anyway, as I said, I'm keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesn't get too aggressive towards the goldies and if he does he gets moved OUT of the tank. Though if he's going to get to be a foot long I may need to start searching for a big tank/rubbermaid tub to toss him into.
